SIRAN RIAK

The South Sudanese Fashion Model was born in Khartoum, Republic of Sudan, discovered her love for fashion at the young age of 5. Her fashion career took off in Uganda in 2011. In 2014, Ms. Riak was honored with the titles of Miss Beauties of South Sudan and Miss Earth, followed by Miss Grand South Sudan in 2015.

 

After pursuing her education in Malaysia and graduating with a degree in Information and Communication Technology in 2018, Siran competed in Miss Africa Malaysia and earned the titles of Best Catwalk and Miss Popularity in 2017. She then made the move to Dubai in 2019.

 

In 2022, Siran Riak served as the MC for the EMI Gala Awards and walked the runway for renowned fashion brands such as Bulgari, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Michael Cinco, and many more. That same year, she made her acting debut as 'Julia' in the critically acclaimed and Oscar-nominated film "Goodbye Julia," which garnered over 40 international awards, including the prestigious Freedom Award at the Cannes Film Festival, and is now available on Netflix.

 

In 2024, Siran Riak ventured into writing with her first book on fashion, showcasing her Journey, passion and knowledge of the industry.
